THE SENSHI

Usagi became a Senshi at the age of 14. She was the second Senshi (the first being SailorV/Venus). The following were her henshin phrases and attacks:

Sailor Moon
Moon Prism Power, Make Up
Moon Tiara Action
Moon Tiara Stardust
Moon Healing Escalation
Sailor Moon R
Moon Crystal Power, Make Up
Moon Princess Halation
Sailor Moon S
Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up
Moon Spiral Heart Attack
Rainbow Moon Heartache
Sailor Moon SuperS
Crisis, Make Up
Moon Gorgeous Meditation
Sailor Stars
Moon Eternal, Make Up
Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss
Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss
Silver Moon Crystal Power

Whenever she made her entrance, she'd usually say: "Ai to Seigi no, sailor fuku no bishoujo senshi, Sailor Moon! Tsuki ni Kawatte, oshioki yo!" (I stand for Love and Justice. I'm the pretty sailor-suited soldier, Sailor Moon! On behalf of the Moon, I shall punish you!)

A MARK OF TRUE STRENGTH

I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with me when I say that power-wise, Sailor Moon was the strongest senshi in the series. They'd claim that if it weren't for the other Senshi weakening the youma, daimon, lemure, phage, and/or if it weren't for them lending her their powers, Moon would be quite useless. That without them, she'd surely lose in battles. Well, if they're entitled to their opinion, then I'm entitled to mine. Moon's power was far superior than any of the other Senshi's. I don't think it was really the Ginzuishou that gave her the power. Just like her various weapons, the Ginzuishou was only a tool which she used to channel her emotions (eg: love and hope) and power to heal or to kill.

How devastating was Moon's attack? Well, look at some 'caps from episode 125 and you be the judge:

It was true that the Inner and Outer Senshi lent her some of their powers so that she could transform into Eternal Sailor Moon, but she couldn't keep that transformation for so long. When Usagi found out from Pluto that Chibiusa would disappear if Mamoru wasn't saved, she became even more upset. Since she didn't want a future or a world without Mamoru and Chibiusa, she was even more determined to go after him. Her tears fell on her brooch and it changed. She transformed without the help of the others and she flew into the sky fully knowing that it was a trap (episode 170).

Anyway, here are three instances that support my assertion that Usagi/Moon could fight by herself and win:

Neherenia
Plain ol' Usagi was the one who understood what was really happening with the "evil" queen. Because of Usagi's compassion, not the Ginzuishou, mind you, she was able to break the spell on Mamoru, save Chibiusa, and free the Senshi from their mirror prisons.

Uranus and Neptune
She won when Uranus and Neptune challenged her on episode 126! And what did they do? They knelt in front of her. They even said that she was the true Messiah! Now, if those two (who were more powerful than Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus -- Uranus said this in episode 117, btw) lost, what does that tell us?

Galaxia
Moon, or rather a winged and very naked Usagi, was the one who healed Galaxia, the Senshi who could control the galaxy. None of her Senshi was there to weaken Galaxia AND none of them was there to lend her powers... not even in spirit form like what happened at the end of the first series. The Starlights, though present, were just spectators in the fight! It was true that Chibichibimoon offered herself to Usagi who was in her princess form by becoming the Sword of Sealing, but Galaxia destroyed it. In the end, it was Usagi who used her Ginzuishou which was powered by her emotions to heal Galaxia and send Chaos back to where it belonged.

Saturn
I bet you're thinking, 'Oh yeah, well, what about Saturn?' I say, what about her? She was a formidable senshi, I admit, but nowhere as strong as Moon. It was never shown exactly how Pharaoh 90 was defeated and/or who defeated it for both Saturn and Moon jumped into it, but afterwards, Super Sailor Moon -- tattered fuku, bruises, messy hair, and all -- returned with baby Hotaru in her arms. If Saturn was indeed stronger than Moon, then why did she revert to/was reborn an infant? Why couldn't she have returned as a young girl?

If you say, "But it was Saturn who destroyed it!" Well, do you have proof? Do you really think Super Sailor Moon would just stand idly by while Saturn sacrificed herself? Do you really think Super Sailor Moon wouldn't use her Ginzuishou? I mean, think about it. The reason why she entered Pharaoh 90 was to save Saturn in the first place! Before she entered Pharaoh 90, there were flashes of light. As soon as she entered, there was a big flash and the battle was over. Obviously, Super Sailor Moon was the decisive factor in all of this.

Saturn could destroy worlds, yes, but would Galaxia awaken her if she was a threat to her plan of universe domination? Let's look at episode 197, shall we?
P: Dead Scream.
U: World Shaking! It didn't work.
G: Even if you all attacked together, you still can't touch me!
S: In that case... I'll erase you for disturbing peace in the Solar System by sacrificing my life. What's so funny?
G: You know nothing! Who do you think revived you?
S: What?
G: Remember why you were revived right after you were reborn.
P: No way!
G: I am the one who revived the evil queen Neherenia that forced you to awaken!
P: Are you saying that the battle was planned from the beginning?
S: No!
G: My goal is to collect all the galaxy's starseeds. In order to achieve this, it's a problem if there are premature starseeds. That's why I gave you something evil to force your awakening!
So you see, no matter how awesome Saturn's power was, it was still not enough. Moon, on the other hand, managed to heal the possessed Galaxia and save all of Galaxia's victims!

If Saturn used her ultimate attack, then she'd die. Saturn herself admitted this in episodes 125 and 172. It's true that the same could be said for Usagi. After all, she died whenever she used the Ginzuishou to the fullest as evident in the first season and in the R movie. But here's what's interesting:

If Usagi didn't die after battling Pharaoh 90 and healing Galaxia (Beryl and Fiore were small potatoes compared to them) then that must mean she didn't use up all of her energy.

As the series progressed or as the villains became stronger, Moon got power upgrades. When Moon's power increased, then the Ginzuishou's capacity to hold energy increased too (or vice versa). If the Ginzuishou didn't overload when she faced Pharaoh 90 and Galaxia, then that must mean she only used a fraction of her power!

And if Usagi had an abundance of love and hope and the Ginzuishou was fuelled by them, then that must mean the Ginzuishou had an abundance of power! Makes sense, yes?

As stated earlier, Moon only used the Ginzuishou to the fullest at the end of the first season and in the R movie. After that, she used it not as a tool of destruction -- except against the battle with the Death Phantom -- but as a tool to heal/purify. I know that Saturn had healing powers too but if her healing powers were stronger than Moon's, then how come Moon was the one who healed Galaxia *and* unfroze Earth so that Crystal Tokyo could be created?

Oh yeah, Moon had three senshi transformations (Eternal being the strongest) whereas Saturn only had two (Super being the strongest.) Now, don't you think it's only logical that the one with the most transformations/power upgrades was stronger?

And then you'll say, "But Saturn had the power of rebirth!" So what? Moon had it too. I mean, hello?! How many times did Moon die/was near death?

If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to add it here. If you have suggestions, feel free to send 'em to me and I'll add 'em here.
