Who's Who?
Alright. This section contains spoilers (as if you didn't know that already ^^v) So please proceed with caution if you don't want me to ruin anything for you.

Violet-haired, golden-eyed HIGUCHI KOTAROU is the lead boy in this wacky anime. His Mom died years before while his Dad, although alive, isn't much a part of his life. You see, Mr. Higuchi is pretty busy with his work and so the only time he sees his son is during breakfast. Because of this arrangement, Kotarou learns to rely on himself.

Although he's quite young, Kotarou isn't like other kids who would rather play than do chores. In fact, since he's pretty much on his own (and to not cause his father any distress), he takes care of their home. He keeps the place tidy and even cooks meals. Before Misha moved in next door, he hangs out with his bestfriends: Koboshi and Ten-chan.

Unlike Ten-chan who excels in everything (academic and sports-wise), he's just an ordinary kid. But one thing that is unusual about him is that he can sense ghosts. In one of the episodes, he's scared witless when he enters an abandoned building. He would have fallen to his death if it weren't for Misha swooping in to save him.

His relationship with Misha is that of love and hate (well, not really hate... more like irritation). When she first claims that she's his guardian angel, Kotarou thinks that she's crazy. But later on, he accepts her when he sees her wings. But that doesn't mean he doesn't get annoyed with her constant glomping and well, stalking. He is quite rude to her at times.

Pink-haired and ever genki MISHA is a girl who suddenly appears as Kotarou is on his way to school. She's not a typical angel; though she means well, her actions usually cause a lot of trouble and/or mess especially for Kotarou. As stated earlier, she glomps onto him like a leech whenever she can and bothers him even while he's in class or is studying.

Misha is quite naive; she doesn't realize it even when others are being hostile to her. For instance, she doesn't get discouraged even when Kotarou brushes her aside and/or scolds her. Initially, she acts motherly to him, but as the series progresses, her feelings begin to change. She no longer loves him; rather, she has fallen in love with him. The thing is, she's a couple of years older than him!

What else is there to say about her? Misha is childlike, cheerful, and friendly. She's the type of girl who befriends everyone. She doesn't mind if Koboshi is mean to her or if her roommate is a devil. She has other admirable traits as well. For example, she's determined to pass her test so that she would become a full-fledged angel just like her sister. She would try to study on the roof in her rabbit pajamas even though her mind is plagued with other thoughts.

UEMATSU KOBOSHI is one of Kotarou's childhood friends. She's quite short for her age. Unlike the other girls in their class, she doesn't go ga-ga over Ten's good looks and intelligence (though she has known him for a long time). In fact, who she secretly has a crush on is Kotarou himself. You see, when they were little, she hurt herself while playing. Kotarou approached and comforted her until she was no longer crying. From then on, she begins to do sweet things for him like baking a cake and cheering for him.

She views Misha as her rival for Kotarou's attention (affections?) so she gets mad when the other girl is around. But she isn't really that bad. There are times when she and Misha actually get along.

Blonde AYANOKOUJI TAKASHI aka Ten-chan is the opposite of Kotarou. He's an outstanding student (he gets the highest marks in the class) and a great athlete. Not only that, he comes from a well-to-do family. He's quite popular with the girls at school and thus receives a lot of gifts. He only has eyes for Shia though.

Usually, devils are portrayed as horrid creatures, but SHIA looks and acts anything but horrid. She's shy, amiable, soft-spoken, and ready to please. That's why her mentor is frustrated with her. She isn't doing her job: that is, making everyone miserable. She has been a great help when she moves in with Misha because the apartment is a mess. Not only that, she cooks delicious food. She even gives some of it to Kotarou in the morning before he goes off to school.

MITARAI HIROSHI may seem like an obnoxious brat, but he really isn't all that bad. Granted he challenges Ten-chan in almost everything, but it's only because he is expected to be the best by his family. Because he is the eldest child, he's been given a lot of responsibilites. Anyway, he only wins once anyway and that is when Ten-chan isn't feeling well.

Hiroshi comes from an affluent family and is thus quite spoiled. He trains very hard in specially designed rooms. He has a humongous crush on Misha so he tries to woo her by giving her stuff such as clothes.

MITARAI KAORU is Hiroshi's younger sister. She wears a tape measure (I think) on her head. At first she thinks that Kotarou is her brother's rival at school. That's why she's tried to hurt him again and again with her deadly hockey stick. When she meets Ten-chan, she develops a huge crush on him. Now she's torn between family loyalty and a possible romantic interest. In the end, however, she chooses to pursue Ten-chan instead much to his dismay.

Blonde and blue-eyed SASHA is also an angel. She's different from her sister Misha when it comes to looks and personality. Unlike Misha, she acts more mature and sophisticated. However, when she finds out that her sister's roommates are devils, chaos ensues. Well, she doesn't really have much against Shia, but Nyaa is a different story.

Sasha is stubborn when she wants to be. She doesn't want to get upstaged by Nyaa's abilities so in one episode, they duke it out. Anyway, she has a crush on Ten-chan. She only appears once or twice (I can't remember) to encourage Misha to do well on her test.

NYAA is Shia's feline mentor. He (?) is baffled by his charge's gentle demeanor considering she's supposed to be a devil. When they both found out about Misha's alter ego, he tries to convince Shia to make the angel's stay difficult. But Shia, being a sweet girl that she is, does the opposite. From the very beginning, he's not in favour of moving with her into Misha's apartment. The only evil thing that he's done so far is turning Kaoru into that of a destructive maniac.
