Pitaten (or Pita Ten, Pita-Ten) is created by Koge-Donbo, the same person who made the extremely cute anime called Di Gi Charat. It's about a young boy named Kotarou whose neighbour is his own guardian angel. At first, he doesn't believe that naive, clumsy, and eager to help Misha is really who she claims she is. However, when his life is in danger, she flies to save him!

But just because overly cheerful Misha saves him from this incident doesn't mean Kotarou's life has gotten better. After all, she follows him wherever he goes. She bugs him while he's in class and gets him into trouble with the teacher. Also, she latches onto him like a leech, much to Koboshi's (his classmate, childhood friend, and admirer) neverending dismay.

Things get worse when Shia, a cute and shy devil, and her feline mentor, Nyaa, move in. Now you'd think an angel (the ultimate agent of good) and a devil (the supposedly vile and ugly creature) living together is bad news, but well... it depends on your definition of bad. They aren't fighting, if that's what you're thinking. As for wreaking havoc on Kotarou's life, that's another matter...
