In case you're wondering...

...why I chose to make a shrine to Misaki:

Simple; she deserves one. I mean, there aren't a lot of Angelic Layer sites out there devoted solely to her. Furthermore, I just wanted to share some of my opinions on why I think she's a great character. I hope I did a good job.

...why I didn't choose some other character instead:

I gathered more information on Misaki than any of the other characters in the series. It'd be a waste if I didn't use it, don't you think?

...why the title is Not On My Own:

Misaki couldn't have won almost all of the Angelic Layer battles without the love and support of her closest friends, family, and fans. Throughout the series, they are always there: cheering for her and encouraging her to do her best. As well, she couldn't have become what she is now (ie: a stronger and better person) if it weren't for them. It only fits that they be (indirectly) mentioned.

Plus, I was listening to that awesome Les Miserables song, On My Own. Pffft!
