Alrighty then. Here's some background info on her. I might get some of them, ahem, wrong since it's been awhile since I played it. But you get the idea. Oh yeah, there are spoilers here. Just thought you should know.
Luna is a sweet fifteen year old girl who lives with Alex and his family. She doesn't know anything about her past and so she longs to uncover her mysterious identity. She considers Alex as her bestfriend (maybe even more) since they've known each other all their lives. Not only that, he usually plays his harp whenever she sings. Her voice is undisputedly the most beautiful in the land; no one can rival her.
She and her friends meet many interesting people along the way. The most notable are Nash, Kyle, Jessica (who claims that Luna looks incredibly familiar), and Mia who decide to go on a journey with them. Together, they face many obstacles (ie: monsters), but then they disband when the four of them are needed in their respective hometowns.
Now the reason for this journey is no longer for fun. Lives are now at stake. Alex reassembles his friends. He asks that they help him rescue Luna and defeat the Magic Emperor. So they all go to find the remaining Dragons that can give Alex the armor used by Dragonmasters. But only the guys could come with him because the others are ill. Luna, who is under Ghaleon's spell, appears and sings an eerie tune and the good guys are rendered paralyzed. But when Alex plays his harp, her memory returns and she starts walking towards him. However, Ghaleon pulls her back and disappears.
They go to the Taben mine first and discover that some demons are being enslaved. They also find out that not all demons hate the goddess Althena. In fact, they need her guidance to survive in these harsh lands. After battling Nash (who initially believed that Ghaleon was doing a nice thing), the fortress starts to move. Mia realizes that Ghaleon plans to go to the Goddess Tower, which is really the Forgotten City of Althena. Luna appears again and transforms into a scantily-clad lady before their very eyes. Alex succumbs to the haunting melody and becomes unconscious.
Armed with Dyne's sword, he and his friends go back to the City of Althena. They had to battle Xenobia first before Alex could fight Ghaleon. Alex becomes victorious, but Luna has now fully transformed into the goddess. He doesn't lose all hope, though; in fact, he bravely approaches her despite her threats and plays his harp. Althena remembers everything and promptly reverts back to her human self.
