Lunar A Silver Star Story is my favourite RPG ever. It's the only game that I've played until the very end. I love the graphics, the plotline, the dark humor, the songs, and the characters. Since Luna is my fave character in the game. She's also my domain's namesake, it's only natural that I give her a shrine. She is special, after all.

When did I start liking the game, anyway? Well, I don't exactly remember the exact date, but what I do (vaguely) remember was how my brother got me hooked into it. He came home one day bearing his friend's discs. He was about to play it when I walked into the room. Since he knew that I liked Japanese animation and what-not, he showed me the game manual. Well, I opened it, saw the pretty pictures, and read the commentaries. Needless to say, they piqued my curiosity. So I started watching my brother play, y'know, to see how it was done and voila!

I was able to acquire the game. It was expensive, but I think it was worth it. My copy is still sealed to this very day and is in good condition. Well, the box is a bit dented because it's kinda squished in a big bag that contains some of my anime collection. Ooops, I digress. Anyway, I never let my brother open it because I'm a very neurotic person and my stuff is off-limits. I know, I'm such an ungrateful twit... Enough about my rambling, you wanted to have a little bit of background on the game itself? Yes? Then here it is:

Althena was a powerful goddess that looked after the world of Lunar. She loved her subjects very much; in fact, she gave them food, water, and a fertile land. However, they became so dependent on her generosity. They also started fighting for her attention. Althena was very sad because they were no longer self-reliant and they had become vindictive. So with the help of Dragonmaster Dyne, she turned herself into a human. That was fifteen years ago.

Like all the children in the land, Alex idolizes Dyne and hopes of becoming a Dragonmaster himself. He gets the opportunity to go on an adventure when his pal Ramus convinces him to look for a rare diamond. He decides to go. However, Luna, his bestfriend, would only allow him to leave if she could come along. And so the story begins...
